General information

Accomodation: Please organise your stay yourself. Here are some hotels you can choose from: Hermes Hotel, B&B Hotel, Altera Hotel

Admission: The selection committee will review all registration applications and give you feedback on admission by 22 December 2024.

Children at the symposium: Please let us know if you need to bring your child(ren) to the symposium. We will try to help you organise childcare.

Fee: We have no registration fee. All participants are expected to contribute a poster or short talk to spark discussion.

Food: All food served during the symposium is vegetarian or vegan and will be covered for registered and admitted participants. Please let us know if you have any additional dietary requirements.

Image material:  The image material we take at the event will be published on our social media platforms. If you do not agree to this, please contact us by e-mail (sfb1372_ol[at]uni-oldenburg.de).

Short talk:  When registering, please indicate whether we should consider your abstract as a short talk (12+3 min). You will be informed by December 22 if your abstract is selected as a talk.

Travel grant: A limited number of travel grants for doctoral and Master's students are available on a competitive basis. If you would like to apply, please explain your funding situation and state your motivation for participating in the symposium when you register.
