GENERAL INFORMATION
Venue
The symposium will take place in the Aula A11 building (Ammerländer Heerstraße/Uhlhornsweg) at the Haarentor campus of the Carl von Ossietzky University Oldenburg.
Public transport from city centre to the venue
The symposium will take place in the Aula A11 building (Ammerländer Heerstraße/Uhlhornsweg) at Haarentor campus of the Carl von Ossietzky University Oldenburg.
The venue is served by lines 306 ’Universität’, 310 ’Wehnen/ Famila-Center’ and 324 ‘Infanterieweg’.
Take the bus stops ‘Schützenweg’ or ‘Campus Haarentor’ to reach the venue, see map here.
Bus tickets
…can be purchased in cash (single ticket: 2,90 €, 4 single tickets: 9,60 €) directly from the bus driver, at the self-service machines (cash or EC card) or via the ‘BOB’ app.
Invited speakers:
Coming from Altera hotel: 4-min walk to Julius Mosen Platz, see map here, then take the bus to the UOL.
Food & dinner
The food served during the symposium is vegetarian or vegan, with meat and gluten-free alternatives.
Tuesday evening
There will be a finger food buffet during the poster session.
Wednesday
Lunch takes place in the canteen, see map here. You will receive vouchers and can choose your lunch freely.
Dinner
We will have dinner in the restaurant ‘Ratskeller’ (Markt 1, city centre of Oldenburg).
Take bus 306/310/324 to the bus stop ‘Julius-Mosen-Platz’. From there it is an 8-minute walk to the restaurant.
The menue plus one drink is included.

Poster information
The optimum size for your poster is DIN A0 portrait format (84.1 cm x 118.9 cm). Landscape formate is also possible, but not optimal.
Please have your poster printed out yourself and bring it with you on the first day of the symposium. You can hang up the posters during the registration phase on 18 February.
We will provide pins and magnets on site.
